Jake, Nick & Emily --
I thought I would start doing this, so that we (but mostly you) can have a record...a snapshot...a picture of your lives--and maybe of my life too. So that someday, years from now, there will (maybe) be a place where you can go back to remember. Because sometimes looking backward is that best way to look foward.
I want to be able to write down things that you did, conversations we had, thoughts that I had--so that we can remember it. This time is passing so quickly, we have to take hold of each moment--so this is my very HUMBLE attempt to do that. When you come across misspelled words, incorrect grammar, etc. roll your eyes and remember that I am doing this with three young children -- you are 6, 3 and 11 weeks right now.
I love each of you so very dearly. You are precious jewels to me.
