I love yuo too!

So Nick is trying to show me this magic trick at lunch involving -- candy and his hands. And he keeps saying to me "see mommy it Spanished", and being his loving mother who would never want to discourage him I smile and say yes and he repeats the trick and says again Very Clearly "see mommy it Spanished". So finally I ask him "What do you mean it Spanished?" And his says "You know mommy, it's gone. It Spanished"...ohmygosh. I totally love him.
We made popcorn balls for a neighborhood snack this afternoon. I love that we live in a place where my kids jump out of the car after school and run around from one house to the next until we force them inside for dinner. I love that there are other little boys around that are as wild as mine. I love that their mother is as unfazed by all these punks as I am...not all mothers go for yelling and screaming and dirt. The ones of us who don't mind have to stick together. It's just easier that way.
Some mothers would not want my seven year old chasing their two year old, who is driving a gator. Some mothers would not want their four year old sitting on the back of the aforementioned gator while my seven year old is driving. I am grateful that this mother does not mind.
And Emmy Girl, she is just waiting for her turn. She laughs and giggles and rides a big wheel if one is available (all those boys don't always like to share). She loves to be outside with those boys. I love how she loves to be outside. She loves to eat dirt and rocks and go, go, go. Just as long as her toes don't have to touch the grass....
And I found this message on my car when I went to walk back inside.
Oh Jake, I love yuo too!
